About You

  • Beekeeper in English language country in need of great honey labels

The Deal

  • I provide you with the Talking With Bees labels with the name of your village/town
  • Labels are 140mm x 40mm (this is significantly larger than labels from beekeeping equipment suppliers and allows for more information and better design)
  • Peel back the strip and stick them on your jars
  • This label works best on 227g round honey jars
  • Minimum order 500 labels at a cost of £0.20/label (incl. VAT) plus £5 delivery in the UK and more if abroad
  • 5,000 or more labels at £0.15/label (incl. VAT) with free delivery
  • The only change I will make to the label is the name of the location, your contact details, weight and country of origin – no other bespoke changes
  • I expect the weights you want will be one of the following 227g, 340g or 454g (i.e. 8oz, 12oz or 16oz)
  • I will not provide labels for the same location to anyone else
  • You will need to add (by hand or stamp) a best before date to the label in the format: 17APR2016 (this then acts as a lot number equivalent)
  • I will also create a page on this website for you and optimise it so that it ranks high on google.  You just need to email me some photos and any text, I’ll do the rest – for FREE. I can also include links to shops where you sell your honey and/or your contact details

Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, USA Honey Labels

  • If you are not a UK beekeeper I’ll make sure the label meets legal requirements in your country

Honey Label Text

This is a photo of the label I use:

I need to edit the text for other beekeepers as per below.  Ignore the dimensions of the table below.  What matters is that you are happy with the text. Note: you will have your own webpage so customers can learn more about their honey.

[County of origin] Honey
Caution: Unsuitable for infants under 12 months of age
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Crystallisation will occur. When this happens place jar in warm water.
Disposal: Please either reuse or recycle this jar if you can. Glass jar – widely recycled. Metal lid – check local recycling.

HONEY

[Location]
Do you know how many miles bees have had to fly to produce this jar of honey? Or how many bees you might find in a beehive? Or why the heck this honey is called “Talking With Bees”?

Please visit www.talkingwithbees.com/i-love-honey to find the answers to all these questions and to read more about the beekeeper and bees who made this honey.

Honey Jars

  • I recommend buying jars from Compak South. Ideally you will buy the 8oz (i.e. 227g), round honey jar and I think it looks best with a gold lid. The label I can provide you with is not suitable for hexagon or other shaped designs.  Call Compak South, tell them you are a beekeeper (referred by Talking With Bees) and make an order for 256 jars (you get a good price with this size order) – you will be surprised at the price, it is significantly less than on the website. Here is the website with a link to the page with the jars you need to use with the Talking With Bees website: Compak South Round Honey Jars

    1. Hi Tania,
      Many thanks for your enquiry.
Prices are as described above: Minimum order 500 labels at a cost of £0.20/label (incl. VAT) plus £5 delivery in the UK and more if abroad. 5,000 or more labels at £0.15/label (incl. VAT) with free delivery
Photos in the design: On reflection additional photos or illustrations will not work with this label.
Lead time: Labels will be delivered within 3 weeks of receiving payment
I will also create a page on this website for you and optimise it so that it ranks high on google.
      Hope this helps.
      Roger

  1. Hi Roger,
I was under the impression that you had to leave one type space between the weight and the grams (ie. 227 g, not 227g). Can you clarify?
    Thanks, Edward.
